The problem

Getting those answers wrong, or taking too long to find them, can be fatal. Giving the wrong blood type, administering a drug someone is allergic to, not reaching family in time.
According to NHAI data, approximately 40% of accident deaths could be reduced with faster access to medical information at the scene.

The founder
Nishad Raviraj Shimpi
Founder & CEO, Emercode™
Nishad Raviraj Shimpi is the founder and CEO of Emercode, building India's emergency medical identity platform from Nashik, Maharashtra. Emercode was born from a simple observation: in India's emergencies, the gap between life and death is often not the lack of help, but the lack of information available at the scene. Nishad built Emercode to close that gap.
What started as a project report and a personal conviction that this problem was solvable has grown into a live, working platform: patient registration and QR identity, a hospital CRM used by real clinical staff, emergency location routing, and a growing pilot presence with police and hospital partners. Nishad has personally built and shipped every part of Emercode, from the core product to its security architecture, its patent filings, and its trademark registrations, largely as a solo founder.
Nishad is a Entrepreneur and a Social Media Specialist, holding a Mechanical engineering degree with Honors in Robotics from the University of Pune.
